Hi, hi, hi I am so glad to meet you. My name is Sandy. They think I might be a mix between a dachshund and a yorkie and it's called a "dorkie". Awful name huh? Well I am a proud girl and I don't care what they call me as long as you call me yours. Did I tell you I don't shed? Yes, I am a very clean little lady that will have to be groomed.

   I was found but my previous family wasn't. Oh well, life goes on. Can we play ball now? I love to play, run around in your fenced yard or sleep near you while you watch TV. I consider myself pretty flexible. I have been around big dogs and can handle when they play rough. See one good thing about being so low to the ground is I roll well, haha.

   I went into the prison dog training program in early November 2013. Actually my graduation date was January 15, 2014.  I know all my basic obedience, am house trained and leash trained. I can't wait for you to play ball with me. Ok, so they are helping me with learning not to jump up and nip people. I don't mean to hurt you, I just want your attention. Maybe I could get attention for just being good and smart, ok?
