Hey, my name is Rookie. I am an eighteen-month-old German Shepherd that weighs about 53 lbs. No, I am not a police dog, I am a people dog. I lost my people because they had a baby and thought I might hurt it by accident. The rescue came and picked me up so I could find a new home.
I am smart, energetic and I love to run and play. The thing I like most is to be with you. I can be the best shadow you ever had. I will do anything for you and be protective of our home and family. I am not someone you can put out in the yard and leave there, I want to be part on your family inside the house. Ok, so I do have some manners but sometimes I choose not to listen so we need to work on that. I will need to continue my training so I can do my best for you. I have lived in the house and know to potty outside. Some other dogs are ok, some not. My job is you so I really want to be your only most loyal friend with fur.
I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped so I am ready for adoption. To adopt me, Rookie, just go to dogsasfamily.org and fill out the adoption application. My adoption fee is 175.00. I am ready, willing and able to do the job, whatever you have in mind. I will watch for you.
