Update 7/3/18 -- I have exciting news…I was accepted into an eight-week prison training program. When I graduate I will be house trained, leash trained, crate trained, know all my basic obedience, be able to work on an agility course and can show you a few tricks too. Hi there, I am Wylie. I am a rough coat terrier mix that is about a year old weighing 9.4 lbs. I was found before Christmas and the nice lady tried to find my home. She just couldn't keep me any longer so she took me to the shelter. I was so scared I hid in the corner. A lady from the rescue came and saw me shaking. Thank goodness she took me with her. So, I am here with the rescue waiting for a new home.
I like to play and run around the yard with the other dogs. Sure, I might me a little slow to warm up to you but once I know you are safe we can be best friends. Other dogs I love immediately so don't be offended. I am happy and chatty sometimes. I get so excited when it is time to eat that I can't help but talk about it. I am a fast learner so teach me whatever you want. I do know to go outside to potty but you might have to remind me at first. Life is good and I want to share it with you.
I am neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. My adoption fee is only 175.00. The first step in the adoption process is to complete an application at dogsasfamily.org for Wylie. I think we could be a family.
