Hi! My name is Barkley. I am a eight year old male English Shepherd that weighs about 50 pounds. I was adopted when I was a puppy and my family recently returned me to the rescue. They said they were moving and couldn’t take me with. I don’t understand that, I thought I was family. Sure, I was sad and confused at first but now I am ready for a new home…a forever one.
I am a good boy. I spent all my time with my family and didn’t socialize with other dogs or cats much. I know sit and shake. Yes, I do like to talk about things but just ask me to get my toy and I will quietly walk around proudly with it. Sure, I will shake it and have a little fun too. Soft toys with squeakers are great. I am house trained and have always lived in the house so please don’t put me in a yard and leave me. I do have a coat that requires brushing but it is so soft and fluffy! When you talk to me I try to listen and you will be surprised what I understand.
I am vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. I am also current on heartworm, flea and tick preventatives. My adoption fee is 150.00.
